Another emphatic statement on the ‘Python v/s R’ non-sense.

"I’m tired of the “which language is better argument”. Each language was designed to solve specific problems.

Here’s only 2 (out of many examples I’ll provide):
ML applications: Python
Biosciences and Genomics: R

If I had a Genomics ML problem, I would def not be using python. Just as if I had a marketing application, I would not use R.

No language is better, they’re designed for specific problems to solve. It’s up to you to choose the right tools for the job. If you’re sawing wood you don’t beat it until it breaks with a hammer — that’s how stupid this “which language is better argument” sounds."
